Product Description
Injection molding is a cycle process, each cycle mainly includes: quantitative feeding - melt plasticization - pressure injection - mold filling and cooling - mold opening and taking out. After the plastic parts are taken out, the mold is closed again for the next cycle.
During the injection molding process, the mold temperature directly affects the filling of the plastic, the shaping of the plastic parts, the molding cycle and the quality of the plastic parts. The temperature of the mold depends on the crystallinity of the plastic, the size and structure of the plastic part, performance requirements, and other process conditions such as melt temperature, injection speed, injection pressure, and molding cycle. Low mold temperature can reduce the molding shrinkage rate of plastic parts, uniform mold temperature, short cooling time, and fast injection speed can reduce the warping deformation of plastic parts.
What is dry cooling?
Dry cooling removes heat from a system using sensible heat rejection. The lack of water and any need for water treatment greatly reduces the required maintenance for this type of cooling equipment.
Application in coolers and condensers:
Air flow and surface area are key to maximizing the effect of dry cooling. Vrcooler facilitates this transfer of energy by running process fluid through a series of highly conductive aluminium fins. By constantly drawing large quantities of air through the fins, heat is quickly removed from the system and discharges to the atmosphere.
Vrcooler offers several models designed specifically to run in 100% dry cooling mode as either closed circuit coolers, or condensers.
Standard tubes are 5/8", 1/2" ,5/8", 20, 1" OD, 304, 316 stainless steel, copper, titanium, hot dip galvanized steel or aluminum. Tubes are arranged inline in the direction of airflow for maximum heat transfer with minimum air side pressure drop.
Standard fin material is aluminum, copper, stainless steel, titanium. Fins are die-formed into a corrugated (waffle) configuration to encourage turbulent airflow and improve heat transfer efficiency. Fins do have varied types of space.
Standard cabinet/casing material is corrosion resistant galvanized steel.
